Intro to Navanga Yoga-Gentle and Therapeutic All Levels with Ricky Tran

Navanga Yoga, Ricky Tran’s progressive and adaptive yoga system is based on 15 years of study and practice under the guidance of world-class yoga masters and teachers, mostly under the Sri T Krishnamacharya disciple lineages including Ashtanga, Iyengar and Vinyasa Krama. Navanga means 9 limbs and is an authentic, comprehensive yoga system that goes beyond physical postures, integrating Hatha, Raja, Mantra, Laya, Jnana, Bhakti, and Karma Yoga. The physical practice is designed to be sustainable over a life-time and includes strong and gentle ways to heal and advance. 
This workshop will begin with a short overview of the Navanga Yoga system followed by a gentle and therapeutic practice with interesting modifications and adaptations for all levels of practitioners. Postures will be be introduced in a seamless flow with coordinated breathing. There will be some partner work to help lengthen the spine. A long spine is a happy spine.
We will end with some seated practices to seal the benefits of this workshop. The goal of Navanga Yoga is to experience lasting inner-peace and mental-quietude (meditation) so that we can realize our highest potential and True Self. 

For best results, please arrive rested, with empty stomach, bladder and colon. Must be able to get up and down from the floor without assistance to attend this workshop.
